How to Inflate a Towable Tube

How to Inflate a Towable Tube

When it comes to enjoying towable tubes, the first thing that needs to be done is they need to be inflated. It’s simple and easy to do. O’Brien has put together this video as a quick guide to inflating your towable tube. There are often things we overlook but there is a proper way to do it. For instance, you’re going to want to ensure that the towable tube is situated on a flat surface. You’ll then open up the valve and utilize the standard Boston valve to get the air flowing. A Boston valve is a one way valve that allows the air to flow into the tube without any of it being removed. Then it’s only a matter of connecting the pump to the tube and letting the air flow in. There are some minor things you should do along the way to ensure that the tube inflates properly and this video is a great guide to make sure you don’t miss anything. You’ll also see how to properly attach the rope to the tube so when you’re on the water and the boat starts moving, it takes you along with it. There’s not a whole lot of fun in watching the boat take off without you, trust me. Check out this O’Brien towable tube video for lots of information regarding towable tubes!
