Take your workout out of the gym and onto the water with the Hobie Mirage Eclipse stand up paddleboard. Incredibly fun and super stable, this board is great for both advanced and beginner paddlers. The Eclipse is simple to set up so you can go from your car to the water in minutes. Rudder controls are featured on the handlebars making steering a breeze; while the kick-up rudder allows you to keep your rudder blade damage free even when your board is beached. Rear tie-downs and bungees allow you to bring a cooler, crate or any other necessary gear for a day out on the water. Don't feel like peddling? No problem. Q: My husband will use this from time to time & I was wondering if it would hold a 225 man well? I see the weight limit is 225 so I want to make sure it will hold him or would it be best to go to the 12 board?
A: This will definitely hold him without issue. At his weight the 12 would be ideal but as he is not the intended majority user it may not make sense to make the decision based on his weight. That said the 12 would still be fine for someone at a lower weight, the longer board just won't be quite as nimble as the 10'6"
