I have paddled this boat on lakes, slow rivers, and large lakes. This boat has great storage and is very stable. I would recommend this kayak for the beginner/intermediate paddler. This is a great kayak that allows you to progress in skill. I have also camped for 3 days out of this boat on a slow river. Little bit heavy, but have great durability so I would rather have that. Excellent kayak I would highly recommend.
