Fiberglass - Less expensive than carbon, but still a super lightweight option for your blade. Fiberglass bends more, making the blade softer in stroke.
Fiberglass/Nylon - Fiberglass blended with nylon. This can be done with a wrapped or woven technique.
Carbon/Nylon - Carbon blended with nylon. This can be done with a wrapped or woven technique.
Wood - Typically the whole paddle is wood when you come across a wood blade. It is incredibly lightweight and super performance oriented while still being aesthetically pleasing.
Polycarbonate - Super rigid material, most blades made of polycarbonate will be extremely durable at a great price point. Most paddles with a polycarbonate blade will be heavier than something made out of carbon or fiberglass.
