Harnesses are generally designed in two types, seat harnesses and waist harnesses.
Seat Harness: The seat harness is designed to fit like a pair of shorts. It fully encompasses the rider’s hips with the use of leg and waist straps. The seat harness does not ride up when kiting and offers a more secure connection to the rider’s center of gravity.
Waist Harness: The waist harness only encompasses the area around and above the hips. The waist harness provides more freedom of motion with less bulk than its counterpart.
