I purchased 2 of these Hobie's for myself and my wife. We love them. We have them on Lake Huron and we have taken 8 hour trips with them. 3 days after we purchased them we had a tornado come through the area and my Kayaks were on the beach. There were taken away. They were found with much damage to them. Kevin at Summit Sports in Brighton MI got the 2 boats repaired getting parts from Hobie. I appreciate how Kevin and the store took care of us. You can buy these at different stores but seeing Summit did the repairs was very impressive. We took them out for one last trip to Charity Island which is a good 6 hours round trip and everything work well. The only thing is I am getting more than usual water inside the haul on mine which I will need to address to see if because of the tornado damaged a seal or a pin leak might be in the haul. We love these boats and we really appreciate what Kevin and the people of the store have taken care of us. We like sailing these over our large sailboat.
