Many bars come with adjustable lengths to provide an effective use when kiting. These adjustments are made in the handle of the control bar and allow for quick changing when needed.

Adjustable Bars: Have an adjustment point located in the handle to widen bars when needed. Many kites will perform differently when using a wider setting or a narrower setting.

Non-Adjustable Bars: Certain kites only have a single length requirement and thus do not require an adjustable bar for riding. To save some weight and complexity, stick with a non-adjustable bar.
